Screen flows

• Submit—Perform a search using the entered search criteria and display the results in the grid.

• New Search—Return to the Search screen and clear the search results and the search criteria.

• New—Create a new item related to the application.

• Saved Searches—Display a saved searches menu where you can save a search, rename and delete existing searches. Refer to Using the Screen Interface for more information.

• Create from Template—Create a report request from a template report request.

Primary Criteria Tab

• Scope

  Search report requests by scope. The following options are available: All, Laboratory only, Organisation only.

• Archive Status

  Search report requests by the archive status of an associated job:

  • Online Only (default)—Return jobs that reside in the Live Production Environment only.

  • Online and Archived—Return jobs that reside in the Live Production Environment or Archive Repository.

  • Online, Archived & Obsolete—Return jobs that reside in the Live Production Environment, Archive Repository or Offline Storage.

• Job Type

  Search report requests by the type of an associated job:

  • Production

  • Lab Batch

  • Internal

  • Proposal

  • Template.

• Job Code

  Search report requests by the code of an associated job.

• Job Name

  Search report requests by the name of an associated job.

• Description

  Search report requests by the description of an associated job.

• Job Category

  Search report requests by the category of an associated job. Selected from categories with a Category Type of JOBS.

• Workflow Status

  Search report requests by the workflow status of an associated job:

  • Registered

  • Not Started

  • Started

  • Analysed

  • Released

  • Completed

  • Finalised

  • Cancelled—Where this workflow status is included in the criteria and the Include Cancelled Jobs check box is:

  • Checked—Cancelled jobs are included in the search result set.

  • Unchecked—The Workflow Status of Cancelled is ignored, such that, cancelled jobs are excluded from the search result set.

  Multiple criteria can be entered in the field to be applied as "Or".

• QC Status

  Search report requests by the QC status of an associated job:

  • Not Tested

  • Not Required

  • Pass

  • Warning

  • Failure.

  Where multiple criteria are entered, then the criteria are applied as "Or".

• Spec Status

  Search report requests by the specification status of an associated job:

  • Not Tested

  • Not Required

  • Pass

  • Warning

  • Failure.

  Where multiple criteria are entered, then the criteria are applied as "Or".

• Priority

  Search report requests by the priority of an associated job. Entered in the format xN, where x is an integer and N is a code for a date-time period: S (second), N (minute), H (hour), D (day), M (month), Y (year). For example, 10D (10 days), 30N (30 minutes).

• Contract Submission #

  Search report requests by the contract submission number associated with a job.

  Search report requests by the contract associated with a job.

• Client Submission #

  Search report requests by the client submission number associated with a job.

• Cost Centre Code

  Search report requests by the code of a cost centre associated with a job.

• Client Code

  Search report requests by the code of a client associated with a job.

  Search report requests by the code of a contact associated with a job.

• Promotable job templates only

  Search report requests by whether a template job contains a job scheme where the scheme has a higher published version available.

  • Checked—If the Job Type search criteria is Production, Lab Batch, Internal or Proposal, then the Job Type search criteria is IGNORED, and only template jobs are searched.

  • Checked—If the Job Type search criteria is Template or Schedule, then the Job Type search criteria is USED, and the specified job types are searched.

  This allows for the selection of template jobs for promotion to the latest published scheme version from the search results grid.

• Invoice To Client Code

  Search report requests by code of the invoice-to client associated with a job invoice in a job.

• Invoice To Client Name

  Search report requests by the name of the invoice-to client associated with a job invoice in a job.

• Sort Order

  The order in which the results are returned to the search results grid:

  • Registered Date ASC

  • Registered Date DESC (Default)

  • Received Date ASC

  • Received Date DESC

  • Required Date ASC

  • Required Date DESC

  • Agreed Date ASC

  • Agreed Date DESC

  • Possible Date ASC

• Has Invoice

  Search report requests by whether an associated job has invoices:

  • All (default)—No filter is applied for this criteria.

  • Yes—Only production, proposal, template, schedule or draft jobs which have at least one job invoice are returned from the search.

  • No—Only production, proposal, template, schedule or draft jobs which have no job invoices are returned from the search.

• Status

  Search report requests by the activity status of an associated job:

  • All (default)—No filter is applied for this criteria.

  • Active only—Only jobs which are active are returned from the search.

  • Inactive only—Only jobs which are not active are returned from the search.

  Note that only template jobs have the Is Active property displayed by default on the CCREGN—Update Job screen.

• Include Cancelled Jobs

  Indicates whether to include cancelled jobs in the search. By default, cancelled jobs are not returned from a search.

  Where a Workflow Status of Cancelled is included in the criteria and this check box is:

  • Checked—Cancelled jobs are included in the search result set. The Cancelled date range criteria becomes available on the Job Criteria tab.

  • Unchecked—The Workflow Status of Cancelled is ignored, such that, cancelled jobs are excluded from the search result set.

• Has Report Requests

  Search report requests associated with jobs:

  • All (default)—No filter is applied for this criteria.

  • Yes—Only jobs which are associated with at least one report request are returned from the search.

  • No—Only jobs which are not associated with report requests are returned from the search. Effectively the report request search returns a job with an empty report request.

Job Criteria Tab

The job criteria, including dates, to search for report requests.

• Registered By

  Search report requests by the code of a user who registered an associated job.

• Received By

  Search report requests by the code of a user who received an associated job.

• Owned By

  Search report requests by the code of a user who owns an associated job.

• Last Activated

  Search report requests by when an associated job was last activated. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Started

  Search report requests by when an associated job was started. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Registered

  Search report requests by when an associated job was started. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Analysed

  Search report requests by when an associated job was analysed. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Received

• Possible

  Search report requests by when a report of an associated job is possible. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Last Invoiced

  Search report requests by when an associated job was last invoiced. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Agreed

  Search report requests by when a report of an associated job is agreed to be ready. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Finalised

  Search report requests by when an associated job was finalised. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Last Archived

  Search report requests by when an associated job was last archived. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Authorised

  Search report requests by when an associated job was authorised. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

• Cancelled

  Search report requests by when an associated job was cancelled. Select start and end dates from the calendars, and a date range option: Between, Any, Null or Delta.

  This search criteria only displays where the Include Cancelled Jobs check box on the Primary Criteria tab is checked.

• Scheme Code

  Search report requests by the code of an associated scheme. Schemes returned from the search include a) org-scope schemes that have no line of business or a line of business matching one of the laboratory's lines of business, and b) lab-scope schemes.

• Version Number

  Search report requests by the version number of an associated scheme.

• Analyte Code

  Search report requests by the code of an associated analyte.

• Section Code

  Search report requests by the code of a section linked to an associated scheme.

• Workflow Status

  Search report requests by the Workflow Status of a job scheme linked to an associated job:

  • Not Started

  • Started

  • Analysed

  • Released

  • Completed.

  Search report requests by the code of an associated instrument, usually for searching for analysis report requests for instrument run list uploads.

Biofields Tab

The job and sample biofield criteria to search for report requests.

• Biofield Code

  Search report requests by the code of a biofield linked to an associated job. A biofield may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active job biofields in scope, and linked to no line of business or to a line of business associated with the laboratory, as configured in the CCBFLD—Biofield application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCBFLD—Search Biofield screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

  More search criteria fields display according to the selected Biofield Code (for example, lists for list type codes, date pickers for date types, or wildcard or text values).

Search Results Grid

• Grid flows

  • Export to Report—report request selected records from the search display grid. Available range table templates are defined by the SEARCH_REPORT_<ApplicationName> application preference.

  • Generate Reports—Generate reports from the selected report requests.

  • Create Report Requests—Create report requests for the selected jobs. If a job has multiple report stakeholders, one report request is created per report stakeholder.
