Screen flows

• Submit—Perform a search using the entered search criteria and display the results in the grid.
• New Search—Return to the Search screen and clear the search results and the search criteria.
• New—Create a new item related to the application.
• Saved Searches—Display a saved searches menu where you can save a search, rename and delete existing searches. Refer to Using the Screen Interface for more information.

Primary Criteria Tab

The primary criteria to search for sample types.

• Scope

  Search specifications by scope. The following options are available: All, Laboratory only, Organisation only.

• Specification Code

  Search specifications by code.

• Name

  Search specifications by name.

• Description

  Search specifications by description.

• Specification Category

  Search specifications by the category of a specification. Selected from categories with a Category Type of SPECIFICATIONS.

• Status

  Search specifications by status:

  • All

  • Active only

  • Inactive only.

• Specification Type

  Search specifications by specification type:

  • All

  • Product Only

  • Scheme Only

  • Standard Only.

• Is Auto Promoted

  Only applicable where Specification Type is Scheme.

  Search specifications by whether a specification's scheme limits are automatically promoted:

  • All

  • Yes Only—Only return scheme limit specifications that have their Is Auto Promoted check box checked.

  • No Only—Only return scheme limit specifications that have their Is Auto Promoted check box cleared.

• Product Code

  Search specifications by the code of an associated product. A product may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active products in scope, as configured in the CCPRDRT—Product application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCPRDT—Search Product screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

• Report Name

  Search specifications by report name.

• Specification Group Code

  Search specifications by the code of a specification group in which a specification is a member. A specification group may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active specification groups in scope, as configured in the CCSPGP—Specification Group application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCSPGP—Search Specification Group screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

• Report Description

  Search specifications by report description.

• Specification Title

  Search specifications by specification title.

• Promotable Scheme Specs only

  Only applicable where Specification Type is Scheme.

  Only return scheme limit specifications that contain scheme version analyte limits where the scheme has a higher published version available. The returned scheme limit specifications can then be selected on the search results grid to have those specifications promoted to the latest published scheme version.

• Grid flows

  • Export to Report—Report selected records from the search display grid. Available report templates are defined by the SEARCH_REPORT_<ApplicationName> application preference.
  • Promote—Promote a specification to contain the latest scheme version for its specification scheme version analytes.
