What is CCLAS EL

CCLAS EL a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), automates processes in an analytical laboratory, including sample registration, barcode label printing, work list generation, on-line data capture from a wide range of analytical instruments, and automatic reporting of results. The system offers superior quality control and monitors products against specifications using built-in Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts. The solution also monitors and manages the user of consumables as well as equipment calibration and maintenance schedules.

CCLAS EL improves the laboratory management process by creating efficiencies in sample processing, improving user productivity and providing coherent and accurate reports to clients in multiple formats and languages.

CCLAS EL also provides laboratories with functions and tools for efficient data mining, tracking customer information, maintaining key performance indicators, management information, and quality management.

The following is an example of the work flow:

  • Customers bring in samples for testing and are processed at registration.
  • The samples are prepared for testing, the testing parameters and results are recorded.
  • Analysts and laboratory managers validate the results and generate reports for the customers.
  • Invoices are prepared based on the tests performed and reports provided.

CCLAS EL v3.0x is the next generation of the CCLAS LIMS solution for laboratories. The v3.0x generation of desktop applications will eventually replace the v2.x applications with a new technology stack and user interface.

The CCLAS EL v3.0x applications are compatible with the v2.x applications and are launched from the new CCLAS EL v3.0x Menu application. Individual v3.0x applications will be released systematically across future releases.
