Overview

Individual CCLAS EL applications can be launched from a shortcut or the command line.

CCLAS EL version 2.* executable files are located in the folder defined by the ExeDirectory GLOBAL setting (for example, I:\CCLAS\Exe\Profile.exe), however, CCLAS ELversion 2.* executable files can exist in a different folder.

Process

Launch a CCLAS EL Application from a Shortcut

To launch a CCLAS EL application from a shortcut, just click the shortcut.

Launch a CCLAS EL Application from the Command Line

Click the Start menu, then click Run... to display the Run dialog. Enter the URL of the CCLAS EL application and hit Enter.

After the licence is verified, if the Pool Control and Security Manager processes are not running, that is, a user has not already logged in by running another CCLAS EL application, then you are prompted to log in. This process establishes security and a connection to CCLAS EL. Refer to Logging In To a Laboratory.
