Edit the V2 Menu via the classic menu style
- Before editing the main CCLAS EL menu, save the existing menu file under a new name in the Login folder. Example: CHEMIST.MNU
- Log into CCLAS EL using the new menu. The menu is displayed according to the StartMenu CCLAS program setting.
- Right-click the menu to display the following floating menu options:
- Login—Quickly log out the current staff member and allow another staff member to log in.
- Open—Open another *.MNU file.
- Save—Save changes made to the menu.
- Exit—Exit CCLAS EL.
- Add group—Add a group to the menu.
- Delete group—Delete a group from the menu.
- Add item—Adds an executable item to the menu.
- Delete item—Deletes an item from the menu.
- Properties—Displays the properties for the selected item.
- Small icons—Toggles the display of small icons on the menu.
- Large icons—Toggles the display of large icon the menu.
- Group captions—Toggles the display of the groups on the menu.
- Item captions—Toggles the display of the items in each of the groups on the menu.
- Help—Displays help files.
To add a menu group:

Right-click the menu and select Add Group from the menu to open the AddGroup form.
To add a menu item:
- Right-click within the desired menu group to which the new menu item is to be added, and select Add Item from the menu to open the CCLAS—Properties Form.
- Enter the details for the menu item.
- Click OK to show the new menu item within the menu group.
To change the icon display:
- To display small icons, right-click and select the Small icons option from the menu.
- To display large icons, right-click and select the Large icons option from the menu.
To save changes to the menu:
- Right-click and select the Save option from the menu.
- If running the menu with an access level of 3, then any changes are saved to the currently opened menu initialisation file.
- If running the menu with an access level of 2, then the window size and position are saved to the Window CCLAS program setting.
To modify another menu (only available for a user running the menu with an access level of 3.):
- Right-click and select the Open option from the menu.
- Select the menu file.
