Maintain sample analysis request state for a job or job scheme
- Open a registered job to display the PROFILE—JobEdit Form.
- Select the Samples tab and select the Grid/Sample info sub-tab to display the sample grid for the job, or Select the Schemes tab, select the scheme(s) then and select the Grid option to display the PROFILE—SampleGrid Form containing the sample grid for the job scheme.
- To display samples down the page, and schemes and analytes across the page, click Mode » Normal.
- To display samples down the page, and schemes and analytes for the selected sample in a separate grid, click Mode » Inverted.
To show or hide a sample's CUID, sample type, sample ident, external ident, description or product code:
- Click Fields to display the unknown samples in the job in the left-hand pane.
- Check the boxes for the fields displayed. These fields include CUID, Sample type, Sample ident, External ident, Description and Product code and click Fields again to update the display.
To display the analytical requirements for a single job scheme:
- Click Scheme and select the job scheme to display rows for all unknown, duplicate and QC samples for that job scheme and columns for the selected job scheme and its analyte.
- For normal display mode, click the grey square above the scheme code to display the analytical request state of each analyte in the job scheme. For inverted display mode, select the sample and click the grey square above the scheme code to display the analytical request state of each analyte in the sample scheme.
To display the analytical requirements for multiple job schemes:
- Click Multi-Scheme, select job schemes or select ***** for all job schemes, and re-click Multi-Scheme to display rows for all unknown and duplicate samples in the job (excluding quality control samples as these may vary from job scheme to job scheme) and columns for the selected job schemes and their analytes.
- For normal display mode, click the grey square above each scheme code to display the analytical request state of each analyte in the job schemes. For inverted display mode, select the sample and click the grey square above each scheme code to display the analytical request state of each analyte in the sample scheme.
To change the analytical request state for CUID scheme analytes:
- Select one or a range of cells using the Control and Shift keys.
- Select the Status » Analyse grid flow to change the cells to green indicating an Analysed request state.
- Select the Status » LNR grid flow to change the cells of an entire row, and related sample splits, to yellow + 'L' indicating a LNR request state.
- Select the Status » IS grid flow to change the cells to yellow + 'I' indicating an IS request state.
- Select the Status » NA grid flow to change the cells to red indicating a NA request state.
