Maintaining Physical Types of Samples
Overview
Physical types, for example, concentrate, crushed ore, prepared samples, sludge, solids, liquids or rocks, are preconfigured so that when the samples of a job are received into the laboratory or prepared for analysis, the samples are linked to a specific physical type of sample.
This process is pertinent to laboratory managers and sample store personnel who configure the sample storage environment for the laboratory.
Process
Physical types are maintained by the Sample Track application.
Physical types are maintained using simple SCRUD (search, create, review, update, delete) functionality.
