Record consumable usage for a scheme

  1. Click Consumables in the CCLAS EL menu or run the Consumables.exe application in the Exe folder to display the Consumables Form.
  2. Select the Consumables » Consumable node.
  3. Where a query form is presented in the bottom of the right-hand grid, then enter criteria and click the Query button to filter the content returned to the grid.
  4. Expand the Consumable node and select the node for the particular consumable type to review consumables of that type.
  5. Where the Properties main menu option is enabled, to further filter the grid content based on column criteria, select the Properties main menu option and filter data using column criteria. Refer to Using the Screen Interface.
  6. Either record consumable usage from the consumable list:
    1. Select the Consumable in the list-view so that it is highlighted.
    2. Right-click the Consumable and select Record usage from the menu to open the CONSUMABLES—RecordUsage Form.
    3. It is possible at this point to select another Consumable code to enter usage for that one instead.
  7. Or record consumable usage during update of a consumable:
    1. Double-click a consumable to open the CONSUMABLES—ConsumableEdit Form.
    2. Select the Details tab and select the Usage node in the Folder Items list.
    3. Select the Scheme in the list-view so that it is highlighted.
    4. Right-click the Scheme and select Record usage from the menu to open the CONSUMABLES—RecordUsage Form.
  8. It is possible at this point to select another Scheme code to enter usage for that one instead.
  9. Enter the Usage date, Quantity used and any User notes.
  10. Click OK to record the consumable usage by scheme and reduce the consumable's Current quantity accordingly, or click Cancel to not proceed.
