        1. Select the analytes and click OK to close this form and add the selected scheme, version and analytes to the BATCH—CriteriaScheme Form, or click Cancel to cancel the addition of schemes, versions and analytes, or
        2. Click OK to open the BATCH—AnalyteList Form, select the analytes by using the >, >>, << and < keys, and click OK to close this form and add the selected scheme, version and analytes to the BATCH—CriteriaScheme Form.
    4. To locate scheme version analytes by scheme for insertion into the list:
      1. Click Insert to open the BATCH—AddSchemes Form.
      2. Operate the form in the same way as for adding a scheme to the list (see above). Selected schemes, versions and analytes are inserted into the BATCH—CriteriaScheme Form instead of being appended.
    5. To move the schemes, versions and analytes up and down in the list:
      1. Click Move to open the BATCH—SeqMove Form.
      2. Select a row and use the arrows to change the order of the rows.
      3. Click OK to close this form and apply the move to the schemes, versions and analytes in the BATCH—CriteriaScheme Form, or click Cancel to cancel the move.
    6. To delete a scheme, version and analyte from the list:
      1. Click Delete to open a warning dialog.
      2. Click Yes to close the dialog and proceed with the deletion of the current scheme, version and analytes in the BATCH—CriteriaScheme Form.
      3. Click No to close the dialog and cancel the deletion.
    7. Once schemes, versions and analytes are returned to the list, where the Properties main menu is enabled, to further filter the grid content based on column criteria:

      1. Select the Properties main menu option and filter data using column criteria. Refer to Using the Screen Interface.
  4. To apply batching criteria based on specific dates:
    1. Check the Dates check box.
    2. Specify the date period as On, Before or After a particular date, or Between two particular dates. The date field used in the date criteria is pre-configured by Batch program settings.
  5. To apply batching criteria based on minimum number of samples, in the Number of Samples section, set Min to a number greater than 0 to return CUIDs for batching only where the number of samples matching the other criteria is greater or equal to this number of samples.
  6. To apply batching criteria based on maximum number of samples, in the Number of Samples section, set Max to a number greater than 0 to return CUIDS matching the other criteria, up to an including this maximum number of samples.
  7. To apply batching criteria based on whether a sample has the specific scheme versions or scheme version analytes registered on it, in the Number of samples section, select All to specify that all analytes must be registered for the scheme for selection of the sample, or check Any to specify that any analyte must be registered for the scheme for selection of the sample.
  8. To apply batching criteria based on selected sample types in the Sample type section, from the list of possible sample types, click a sample type to selected, and use the Control and Shift keys to select more contiguous or non-contiguous sample types. Re-click a sample type to deselect it. Where no sample types are selected, then the batching criteria includes all sample types.
  9. To apply batching criteria based on a sample scheme analyte's analyte status, in the Analyte status section, either:
    1. Select All to not limit the sample selection based on a CUID scheme analyte's Analyte Status, or
    2. Select Selected and check the Not analysed check box to limit the sample selection where a CUID scheme analyte's Analysis Status is NULL or empty (not analysed), and/or check the Analysed check box to limit the sample selection where a CUID scheme analyte's Analyte Status is CPL (completed).
    3. Select Awaiting checks to limit the sample selection where a CUID scheme analyte's Analyte Status is CHK (Check).
  10. To apply batching criteria based on a sample scheme analyte's laboratory batch status, in the Lab Batch Status section, either:
    1. Select All to not limit the sample selection based on a CUID scheme analyte's laboratory batch status, or
    2. Select Selected and check the Not lab batched check box to limit the sample selection based on whether a CUID scheme analyte's Lab Batch Job and Lab Batch CUID are empty, or check the Lab Batched check box to limit the sample selection based on whether a CUID scheme analyte's Lab Batch Job and Lab Batch CUID contains a laboratory batch job number and laboratory batch CUID.
  11. To apply batching criteria based on selected jobs, in the Jobs section, from the list of activated jobs, click a job to select it, and use the Control and Shift keys to select more contiguous or non-contiguous jobs.
