Register a sample using an instrument run list sample

1. Select a row in the instrument run list that is associated with a sample.
2. Select Edit » Append sample from the main menu to open the Add new form. The Sample type, Scheme code and Sample ident are populated using the selected sample.
3. Select a different Sample type, if required.
4. Enter the Sample ident of the new sample.
5. Enter the External ident, Description and Product code for the new sample, if required.
6. Click OK to register the sample to the same job and schemes as the selected sample.
