Data Entry and Upload Operations

Data can be entered manually or captured from instruments. The Online application allows for the upload of results for one to many analytes per sample from file or instrument, and the Data Entry application allows for the entry and capture of data using a spreadsheet environment.

An instrument may send data directly to a computer (for example, a balance) or write data into a data file for that specific instrument (for example, an XRF).

The data can comprise sample weights, raw (weight and/or volume corrected) results, or final (weight or volume corrected) results, for one or many analytes.

The Online and Data Entry applications support the entry of data into either production jobs or laboratory batch jobs. Where data is put into a laboratory batch job, it is automatically available in the related production job.
