Find workbook jobs

  1. Click Data Entry in the CCLAS EL menu or run the xMDE.exe application in the Exe folder to display the Jobs Form.
  2. Where a barcode reader is set up to scan and locate workbook jobs:
    1. Place the cursor in the list view panel part of the screen that contains the jobs grid.

    2. Enter text on the keyboard to prefix the string to the scanned barcode string, as required.
    3. Scan a job number. Scanning terminates when the scanner reads the terminator code, upon which the barcode content displays in the toolbar.
    4. Accept the barcode input to display the job in the right-hand grid.
  3. Where custom forms are available below the Command main menu option, to use one of these to locate workbook jobs:
    1. Select any node.

    2. Click the down-arrow next to the Command main menu option and select the custom form to display it.
    3. Interact with the form, as required, and click OK to close the form and execute it, or click Cancel to close the form and not proceed.
  4. Where a Clients node presents in the Folder Items panel. your system is configured to drill down to jobs via a client and project. If this is the case:
    1. Select one of the clients below the Clients node, or double-click a client in the right-hand grid, to display its projects in the right-hand grid.
    2. Select one of the projects below the client, or double-click a project in the right-hand grid, to display its jobs in the right-hand grid.
  5. Where a Jobs node presents in the Folder Items panel, your system is configured to access jobs directly. If this is the case:
    1. Select the Jobs node to display the jobs in the right-hand grid.
  6. Where a query form is presented in the bottom of the right-hand grid, then enter criteria and click the Query button to filter the content returned to the grid.
  7. Where the Properties main menu option is enabled, to further filter the grid content based on column criteria:
    1. Select the Properties main menu option and filter data using column criteria. Refer to Using the Screen Interface.
