Archive a job to another database
- To force an overwrite of the job if it already exists in the destination database:
- Right-click on a job and select Archive to offline » Overwrite from the menu. If the ArchiveDBForceOverwrite GLOBAL setting is enabled, then the Overwrite right-click menu option is check on by default.
- To include the samples ident files in the archive process by copying them to the folder defined by the ArchiveDBIdentsFolder GLOBAL setting:
- Right-click on a job and select Archive to offline » Include idents files from the menu. If the ArchiveDBIdentsFiles GLOBAL setting is enabled, the Include idents files right-click menu option is check on by default.
- To archive the job, but still keep it in the live database, typically done if an archived copy of the job needs to be emailed:
Right-click on a job and select Archive to offline » Keep job from the menu.
- To archive the job and remove it from the database, so that the only reference to the job is contained within the XML files in the ZIP file, effectively removing the job from the live system:
- Right-click on a job and select Archive to offline » Remove job from the menu.
