Maintaining Price Groups

Price groups comprise groups of price codes for use in quotes. Price groups are usually configured using the Quote Wizard accessed via the Client application, or can be configured manually using the Price group application.
A price group references a conversion code to denote the conversion of its prices to the base currency, and contains pricing for multiple schemes and analytes, overriding the normal pricing for those schemes and analytes. Obviously, a price group can contain a scheme or analyte after those methods are defined.
Where an invoice links to a quote, then schemes and/or analytes contained within the quote's price group have their normal book pricing adjusted by a specified discount.
This process is pertinent to laboratory managers who configure CCLAS EL for invoicing.
Process
Price groups are maintained using the Setup application. You need specific rights to have visibility to this application.
Price groups are maintained using simple SCRUD (search, create, review, update, delete) functionality under the Setup » Price groups node. You need specific rights to have visibility to this node.
