Maintain cost centres
To search for cost centres:
- Click Client in the CCLAS EL menu or run the Client.exe application in the Exe folder to display the Client Form.
- Select the Clients » Cost codes node
- Where a query form is presented in the bottom of the right-hand grid, then enter criteria and click the Query button to filter the content returned to the grid.
- Where the Properties main menu option is enabled, to further filter the grid content based on column criteria, select the Properties main menu option and filter data using column criteria. Refer to Using the Screen Interface.
To create a cost centre:
- Click New to display the AddNew form.
- Enter the New code.
- Click OK to create the cost centre and open the CostCentreEdit Form to update the client details, as required, or click Cancel to not proceed.
To review a cost centre:
- Double-click a Cost Code to open the CostCentreEdit Form.
To update a cost centre:
- Double-click a Cost Code to open the CostCentreEdit Form.
- Enter the Description.
To deactivate the cost centre in the system:
- Check the Disabled check box.
To enter custom details for a cost centre:
- Where the LIMS is configured to allow for the entry of custom details for the client, click User Screen in the main menu to open the custom form to update the custom details, as required.
To delete a cost centre:
- Click
Delete.
