Maintain ident rules

To search for ident rules:

  1. Click Setup in the CCLAS EL menu or run the Config.exe application in the Exe folder to display the Config Form.
  2. Select the Ident rules node.
  3. Where a query form is presented in the bottom of the right-hand grid, then enter criteria and click the Query button to filter the content returned to the grid.
  4. Where the Properties main menu option is enabled, to further filter the grid content based on column criteria, select the Properties main menu option and filter data using column criteria. Refer to Using the Screen Interface.

To create an ident rule:

  1. Click New to display the IdentRulesEdit Form.
  2. Enter the Description.
  3. Enter the SC.
  4. Enter the Ident rule.
  5. Click fx to test the ident rule and display the Decoded job, Decoded sample type, Decoded sample ident, Decoded external ident, Decoded description and Decoded product. Note that after the ident rule is tested, the SC text box is empty.
  6. Click Save to create the ident rule, or click Close to not proceed.

To review an ident rule:

  1. Double-click a Sequence to open the IdentRulesEdit Form.

To update an ident rule:

  1. Double-click a Lab code to open the IdentRulesEdit Form to update the entity, as required.

To delete an ident rule:

  1. Click Delete.
