Program Settings - SAMANA

SAMANA program settings set the environment for the On-line application.

;" class="TableStyle-Basic-Table-Borders" cellspacing="0">
Setting NameDescriptionSetting ValueDefault
AccessLevel

The access level for each staff member to the On-line application.

n

  • 0 - no access
  • 1 - read only access
  • 2 - read/write access
  • 3 - read/write/delete access.

AddFirstSample

If enabled, then a default sample is added to the list at the start of the session.

Enabled | Disabled

AllowAutoOverwriteFormula

Where an analyte has a formula, when a result is received from an instrument:

  • If enabled, then the analyte's result is updated and its formula is overwritten.
  • If disabled, then the analyte's result is not updated and its formula is not overwritten.

Enabled | Disabled

Disabled
AllowProperties

If enabled, then the user can select the Properties option from the main browser to set or change the filter used to display records in the list-view panel.

Enabled | Disabled

AllowSampleNavigation
AnalyteLockedStatuses

The comma-delimited list of analyte locked statuses.

If a cell has a status which is in the list of AnalyteLockedStatuses, it is locked to non-level 3 users.

CPL | IGN | NVL | NA | IS | LNR | OWH | OWL | OFT | OFL | OFT, or a comma-delimited list of these analyte statuses.

CPL,IGN,NVL,NA,IS,LNR,QWH,QWL,QFH,QFL,QFT
AutoRun1..

The scripts that are run automatically when the On-lne application starts up. This allows for the automatic opening of multiple data capture sessions.

{VBScriptFile}.VBS

AutoStatusUpdate

Made obsolete in CCLAS 2.44.0. Previously: If enabled, then the job status for those samples which have been analysed is updated at the end of the On-line session.

Enabled | Disabled

Criteria1..

The list of criteria used to select records for the jobs list. Each criterion is defined by a name and a SQL clause used to filter the records. Only one criteria can be active at a time.

These criteria and the default criteria to be used can be changed by the user in the application as well as via the Staff application. If modified by the application, if program settings were only present for CCLASMGR, then they are copied into the individual user’s program settings.

{CriteriaName},{SQLStatement}

CurrentCriteria

The number of the current criterion.

n
DataCaptureErrorLog

The name of the log file for data capture events.

{FileName}

DetLimFailureColour

The colour used to display a cell where there are results that fall below the determination limit.

{Colour}

&H00C0FFFF (Red)

FindNextUnanalysedQC

When needing to find the next QC sample in the job that does not have a result as yet:

  • If enabled, and analytes are already analysed for the sample with the same sample type and sample ident, then the cursor is moved to the sample with the next CUID or scheme sequence.
  • If disabled, then the cursor is moved to the next sample ident that does not have all analytes analysed.

This is useful where there is a chance that the combination of sample type and sample ident is not unique for a scheme in a job.

Enabled | Disabled

Disabled
FormulaBackgroundColour

The background colour used when displaying a formula cell.

{Colour}

GridComboMaxItems

When selecting a job from the run list, then the number of jobs that appear in the drop-down list is limited by this number.

n
GridMaxItems

When selecting a scheme, CUID, sample type, sample ident or product from the run list, then the number of schemes, CUIDs, sample types, sample idents and products that appear in the drop-down list is limited by this number.

n
InitialRecords

The number of records to initially load onto the main sample list.

n
Instrument1..

If defined, when selecting an instrument for a data capture session, then the instruments are defined by the list. The Filename is the IFF for the instrument communication.

If not defined, then all instruments that have IFF files in the IFFScripts folder appear in the drop-down list.

{InstrumentName}, {FileName}

MainListViewColumn1..

The columns of details displayed in the browse frame of this application.

{FieldName},Width,{ColumnHeading}[,{Picture}]

QCFailureColour

The background colour used when displaying a cell containing a QC sample that has failed the action limits.

{Colour}

QCWarningColour

The background colour used when displaying a cell containing a QC sample that has failed the warning limit.

{Colour}

RecalculateFormulae

If enabled, after sample data has been saved for a scheme, then formulae in schemes that are not loaded for the current session are evaluated for that sample.

Enabled | Disabled

SamanaRun1..

The screens that are available from the Add menu option. This is typically used to select instruments or scan samples into run lists.

Examples:

SamAnaRun1=%ConfigDirectory%SamanaUDF1.SCR

SAMANARun2=%ConfigDirectory%SamanaUDF2.SCR

{VBScriptFile}.SCR

SelectedRowColour
  • Colour of the current row on the SAMANA grid.
  • Default = 256
    ShowTipOfTheDay

    If enabled, then the content of the TipOfTheDayFile displays on application on start up.

    If disabled, then no tip of the day displays.

    Enabled | Disabled

    SpawnInvertedxMDE

    If enabled, then the On-line application spawns the Data Entry inverted spreadsheet functionality in the background to enable the inter-scheme calculations to be performed, since the On-line application functionality only allows for intra-schemes calculations.

    Enabled | Disabled

    SupportOldFormulaNames

    The user-defined form is available at the bottom of the SAMANA edit window,

    Example: SamanaUser.SCR

    {VBScriptFile}.SCR
