What's New in CCLAS EL 3?

CCLAS EL v3.x is the next generation of the CCLAS LIMS solution for laboratories. The v3.x generation of desktop applications will eventually replace the v2.x applications with a new technology stack and user interface.

The CCLAS EL v3.x applications are compatible with the v2.x applications and are launched from the new CCLAS EL v3.x Menu application. Individual v3.x applications will be released systematically across future releases.

Note:CCLAS EL V3 versioning follows the 3.majorVersion.minorVersion.patchNumber format.

  • A major version signifies a breaking change, that is, the database has changed such that a new release of software cannot run on an older database

  • A minor version signifies a non-breaking change

  • A patch on a previous version comprising bug fixes or new online help, for example.
