Flows:

• Browse—Return to the frmConfig form.
• Close—Close this form.
• Save—Save form updates.
• Save as—Save the current entity as a new entity.
• Delete—Delete the current entity.
• User screen—Open the custom form contained in the InstrumentUser.SCR screen file, if it exists, to enter custom details for an instrument.

Form:

• Description—The description of the instrument.
• Active—Indicates whether the instrument is active. If enabled (default), the instrument is available for use. If disabled, the instrument is not available for user.
• Instrument substitute—The code of the instrument that is used when this instrument is inactive. The substitute instrument must be a valid CCLAS instrument.
• Manufacturer—The manufacturer of the instrument.
• Model—The model of the instrument.
• Serial number—The serial number of the instrument.
• Location—The location of the instrument within the laboratory.
• Date purchased—The date on which the instrument was purchased.
• Date commissioned—The date on which the instrument was commissioned.
• Serviced by—The name of the company that services the instrument.
• Servicing telephone—The telephone number of the instrument service company.
• Servicing contract—A reference to the instrument servicing contract.
• Instrument message—A message that a configured script may send when the instrument becomes active or inactive.
