Form:
- Detection limit—The entry point to the rounding table. When a numerical value is rounded, the entry point to the rounding table items is at the first row containing a Detection limit greater than or equal to the analysis detection limit for the particular scheme and analyte.
- Ceiling—The cut-off point to this entry in the rounding table. If the value for rounding is greater than the defined ceiling for the current rounding item, then the next rounding table item is used (generally a higher detection limit). This checking process continues until a row is found in which the value is less than or equal to the defined ceiling. If a rounding table item does not contain a value for the ceiling, or if the ceiling is less than the Detection limit, then the entry is invalid and the value is not rounded for the report.
- Unit to—Indicates that the value requires conversion to the specified unit for reporting. The unit must exist in the CCLAS UNIT table.
- Picture—The format of the string containing the reportable value. X indicates numerical fill.
- Nice number—The nice number to appear on the end of the rounded value. For example, a nice number of 5 means that the number is reported to the nearest 0 or 5 in the least significant digit.
