- Close—Close this form.
- Save—Save form updates.
- Save as—Save the current entity as a new entity.
- Delete—Delete the current entity.
- <<—Update Tolerance 1 based upon statistics held on the scheme, latest version, and analyte:
Tolerance 1 = SVA's Statistical detection limit / Expected value x 100 + SVA's Limiting repeatability
Form:
- Expected value—The expected value that the quality control type must attempt to achieve for the scheme and analyte.
- Use absolute tolerance—Indicates whether an absolute tolerance is used instead of a relative tolerance.
- Tolerance 1—The lower or failure limit tolerance:
- Where the Use absolute tolerance check box is checked:
Lower action limit = Tolerance 1
- Where the Use absolute tolerance check box is unchecked:
Lower action limit = Expected value - Expected value x Tolerance 1 / 100
Lower warning limit = Expected value - (Expected value x Tolerance 2) x 1.96 / 3.09
- Where the Use absolute tolerance check box is checked:
- Tolerance 2—The upper or warning limit tolerance:
- Where the Use absolute tolerance check box is checked:
Upper action limit = Tolerance 2
- Where the Use absolute tolerance check box is unchecked:
Upper action limit = Expected value + Expected value x Tolerance 1 / 100
Upper warning limit = Expected value + (Expected value x Tolerance 2) x 1.96 / 3.09
- Where the Use absolute tolerance check box is checked:
- Readings—The number of readings that exist for the quality control type scheme analyte.
- Mean—The average value of all readings.
- Minimum—The minimum value of all readings.
- Maximum—The maximum value of all readings.
- Relative s.d.—The relative standard deviation of all readings.
