Filter Displayed Holes
The Hole Search Filter dynamically filters the display of holes in the Viewport.
Filter templates are saved in the mine site database rather than as external files.
To filter holes:
- Select the Design, Drill, Measure, Charge or Initiation module.
- Select patterns in the DataBlast Items Tree as required.
- In the Hole Search Filter, check Filter Active. If checked, holes are filtered dynamically as you update each filter. If unchecked, you can still update filters and then check Filter Active when you are ready to apply the filter.
Note: The Layers Toolbar (Overview) includes an option to toggle the display of filtered-out holes.
- Select whether to filter by Hole IDs. If checked:
- Enter one ID or enter multiple IDs separated by commas.
- Select the search method from:
- Exact Match
- Regular Expressions—For examples, see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/scripting/search-text-with-regular-expressions?view=sql-server-ver16
- Wildcards—Use an asterisk (*) for multiple characters or a question mark (?) for a single character. For example, to find all holes that start with "A", enter A*.
- To filter by any numerical properties or linked resources:
- Click Properties.
- In the Range Properties table:
- Check Active for Collar Angle, Collar Bearing, Hole Depth, Design Drill Depth, Drilled Depth, Measured Depth, Drilled Diameter, Water, Wet Walls, Temperature, Drill Date and Charge Loaded Date as required.
- Update the Value From and Value To as required.
- Select whether to Include Empty Values.
- In the Linked Resources table:
- Check Active for Drill, Drill Operator, Dip Operator, Backfill Operator, Charge Loading Operator and Charge Loading Equipment as required.
- Select the resources or people in the Value List as required.
- Select whether to filter by any boolean properties (Flags). Selecting None deselects any other options.
- Select whether to filter by any hole Statuses. Selecting None deselects any other options.
To load a hole filter template:
- In the Hole Search Filter, select the Filter Template from the saved filter templates in the mine site database.
To maintain hole search filter templates:
- To create a template:
- Select filter parameters as described in steps 4–7 above.
- Click the ellipsis (...) next to Filter Template. and select Save Template As from the menu.
The New Hole Search Filter Template screen displays.
- Update the template Name if required.
- Click Save Template.
- Click Close.
- To use a template, select the Filter Template from the saved filter templates in the mine site database.
- To update a template with new parameters:
- Select a Filter Template.
- Update filter parameters as required.
- Click the ellipsis (...) next to Filter Template and select Save Template from the menu.
- To delete a template:
- Select a Filter Template.
- Click the ellipsis (...) next to Filter Template and select Delete Template from the menu.
To disable or clear the hole filter:
- To disable the hole filter, uncheck Filter Active.
- To clear all hole filters, click the Clear Filter (eraser) icon.
