Save or Discard Changes

Important: Automatic saving is not a feature in DataBlast Ignite. When you create each object or make each change, its details are stored in a 'dirty list'. For example, it is not sufficient just to add a drill pattern. You must click Save Changes so that changes are saved to the database and other processing can occur. If you try to move between modules or other functionality without saving changes, DataBlast Ignite prompts you to either save or discard your changes.

Activity Steps

1. To save changes, click Save Changes.
2. To discard changes, click Discard Changes.

Note: Many ribbon menus include the Save Changes and Discard Changes options. See Menus. These options are also on the Quick Access Toolbar. All instances of these options work identically.
