Compare Fragmentation Models

Activity Steps

1. On the DataBlast Application Menu, select Fragmentation Modelling.

   The Fragmentation Modelling screen displays.

2. Select one or more fragmentation models in the DataBlast Items Tree of the Fragmentation Modelling screen.

   The models display as a chart of the average fragmentation for dry holes by default. The key below the graph indicates which colour represents each model.

   Details of the bench, subgrade, burden and spacing from the applicable charge standard for each model display in the right-hand panel.

3. For each model, select whether to view Average, Low or High values for Dry, Wet, Dewatered or Measured holes.
4. To update the details used in the calculation of a model:
   1. Right-click the fragmentation model in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Set as Active Item from the menu.
   2. Update the following fields above the chart as required:
      • Bench Height
      • Subgrade
      • Burden
      • Spacing
      • Scale Units
5. Click Save Changes.
