Maintain Stock Points

You can track inventory at a stock point. Stock points must be created within a storage location. See Maintain Storage Locations.

To add a stock point:

1. On the DataBlast Application Menu, select Inventory.

   The Inventory screen displays.

2. Right-click a storage location node in the DataBlast Items Tree of the Inventory screen and select Add Stock Point from the menu.

   The Stock Point screen displays.

3. Enter a Stock Point Name.
4. Complete the following fields as required.
   • Hazard Class—Select from 1.1B, 1.1D, 1.4S, 1.5D, 3 and 5.1. The hazard class will display in brackets after the stock point name in the DataBlast Items Tree, but does not limit the products that can be stored at the stock point.
   • Serial Number
   • Floor Area
   • Floor Area UOM
   • Licence Number
   • Licence Expiry
   • Licence Quantity
   • Licence Quantity UOM
5. Click OK.

   DataBlast Ignite saves the changes.

To edit a stock point:

1. Right-click the stock point node in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Edit Stock Point from the menu.

   The Stock Point screen displays.

2. Update the details as required.
3. Click OK.

   DataBlast Ignite saves the changes.

To deactivate a stock point:

1. Remove any products from the stock point. See Maintain Products at a Stock Point.
2. Right-click the stock point node in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Edit Stock Point from the menu.
3. Uncheck Active.
4. Click OK.

   DataBlast Ignite saves the changes.

To delete a stock point:

1. Remove any products from the stock point.
2. Right-click the stock point node in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Delete Stock Point from the menu.

   A confirmation message displays.

3. Click OK.

   DataBlast Ignite saves the changes.
