Install DataBlast Ignite

Important: This activity must be performed with adequate network, domain and administrator permissions to the installation machines.

During installation, the DataBlast Ignite installation wizard also checks whether the following packages and applications are already installed, and installs them if required:

• Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages
• Microsoft SQL Server 2022 LocalDB application—A reboot might be required. Although DataBlast Ignite now uses SQLite databases, the LocalDB application is still required to restore older databases in .zbk format.
• Datamine License Manager application

The default installation folder is C:\Program Files\DataBlast Ignite\

A new installation of DataBlast Ignite includes a demonstration mine site database in C:\ProgramData\Datamine\DataBlastIgnite\Demo Database.

Activity Steps

1. Double-click the DataBlast Ignite Setup application.

   The installation wizard opens.

   Note: If Windows displays a security alert:

   1. Click the More info link.
   2. Click Run anyway.
2. Accept the installation of any required Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages.

   The Welcome screen displays.

3. Click Next.

   The end user licence agreement displays.

4. Select I accept the term in the licence agreement.
5. Click Next.
6. To change the location of the installation folder:
   1. Click Change.
   2. Navigate to and select the installation folder.
   3. Click OK.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Install.

   The installation wizard installs DataBlast Ignite and other applications as required.

9. Click Finish.

   The installation wizard closes.
