Export hole design to a drill navigation system
Note: Exporting hole designs to a drill navigation system also sets the Sent to Drill hole property to True (see Change the Sent-to-Drill status of holes)
Activity steps:
- Select the Design module.
- Select a drill pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree.
The drill pattern displays in the Viewport.
Note: If you display multiple drill patterns, only holes in the active pattern are exported. See Make a pattern active. You can also select or filter holes in the active pattern for export. See Select objects in the viewport and Filter displayed holes.
- On the Design ribbon menu, in the Drill Navigation group, click Export to Drill Navigation.
The Export Design to Drill Navigation screen displays.
- Select the Drill Navigation System from:
- Leica DrillNav Plus
- Atlas Copco Drill (Generate File)
- Atlas Copco Drill (Auto Send to Drills): Requires existing export configuration for the DataBlast Pro Service. No new export configuration can be created for this deprecated functionality.

- CAT Terrain Drill System
- WencoLite Drill
- WencoMine Drill
- Modular ProVision Drill

As required for the drill navigation system, the list of required files displays in Generated File(s).
Note: For exporting directly to a drill navigation system, the applicable record must be configured in the Service Control settings. See Drill machine interfaces.

- Include Drilled Holes
- Force Update
- Include Hole Options: Exports additional data.
- Include MWD Data: Export measure-while-drilling (MWD) data.
- Use Local Site Internal Navigation IDs: Export hole IDs that are unique across the entire mine site and for the history of the drill navigation system.

- Click the ellipsis (...) to browse for and select an Output Directory.
- Click Export.
