Initialise BlastPad data

Warning: If you already have DataBlast data on the BlastPad device, this activity replaces that data.

Activity steps (recommended):

1. Insert the USB stick that has the configuration files. See Generate BlastPad configuration files.
2. Double-click the BlastPad desktop icon, or select BlastPad from the Windows Start menu.

   The main menu displays.

3. Select Utilities.
4. Select Reset BlastPad from USB.

   A confirmation message displays.

5. Select Yes.

   If the BlastPad device has a network connection and can communicate with the DataBlast Server, synchronisation begins.

Activity steps (if a USB drive is not available):

1. Create the required destination file folder:
   1. Start BlastPad.
   2. Select Exit.
2. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Datamine\BlastPad.
3. Delete any files or subfolders in that folder.
4. Copy the generated BlastPadCommsAndData to that folder.
5. Restart BlastPad.
