Dock or Move Panes

By default, the DataBlast Items Tree displays as a pane on the left of the user interface; the Properties Pane is on the right and the Hole Search Filter is at the bottom. To make the Viewport larger, you can dock these panes, stack them together or move them to another monitor.

Some other screens that appear on demand, such as the Detonator/Cord Selection screen and Hole Editor can also be docked.

The Utilities/View Ribbon Menu also has options to show or hide some parts of the user interface.

Note: DataBlast Pro saves the position of panes and screens. To reset the size and position of DataBlast Pro screens, press and hold Ctrl while starting the DataBlast Pro application. This step may be required if you open DataBlast Pro with different external monitor configurations.

To dock a pane:

  1. Click the Docking Pin icon. Docking Pin icon

To undock a pane:

  1. Hover the mouse pointer over the docked pane.
  2. The pane displays temporarily.
  3. Click the Undocking Pin icon. Undocking Pin icon

To move a dockable screen:

  1. Click and hold the title bar or tab name.
  2. Drag the mouse pointer to one of the screen location markers that display while dragging, or drag to another monitor. Screen location marker icon
  3. Release the mouse.
