Maintain Storage Locations

You need a storage location before you can create stock points for which you track inventory. See Maintain Stock Points.

To add a storage location:

1. On the DataBlast Application Menu, select Inventory.

   The Inventory screen displays.

2. Right-click a mine site node in the DataBlast Items Tree of the Inventory screen and select Add Storage Location from the menu.

   The Storage Location screen displays.

3. Enter a unique Storage Location Name.

   Note: The name cannot be the name of a deleted storage location.

4. Enter the Location as Easting, Northing and relative level (RL) values if required.
5. Enter Comments if required.
6. Click OK.

   DataBlast Pro saves the changes.

To edit a storage location:

1. Right-click the storage location node in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Edit Storage Location from the menu.

   The Storage Location screen displays.

2. Update the details as required.
3. Click OK.

   DataBlast Pro saves the changes.

To deactivate a storage location:

1. Delete any stock points at the storage location. See Maintain Stock Points.
2. Right-click the storage location node in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Edit Storage Location from the menu.
3. Uncheck Active.
4. Click OK.

   DataBlast Pro saves the changes.

To delete a storage location:

1. Delete any stock points at the storage location.
2. Right-click the storage location node in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Delete Storage Location from the menu.

   A confirmation message displays.

3. Click OK.

   DataBlast Pro saves the changes.
