Hole Maintenance

DataBlast Pro stores the state of each hole every time data related to the hole is saved. You can review this state history.

Warning: Deleting hole state history records is not recommended! Exercise extreme caution when deleting hole state history records because the risk of data corruption is very high. Deleting hole state history records is rarely required.

To review hole state history for a hole:

  1. Display a pattern in the Viewport.
  2. Select a hole in the pattern.
  3. On the DataBlast Application Menu, in the Advanced Tools sub-menu, click Hole Maintenance.

  4. Click OK.

    The Hole Maintenance screen displays.

  5. Select the hole name.
  6. Select a history record by module name.

To review hole state history for any hole in a pattern:

  1. On the DataBlast Menu, in the Advanced Tools sub-menu, click Hole Maintenance.

    The Hole Maintenance Pattern Selection screen displays.

  2. Enter the name of the drill pattern to load. The name is not case-sensitive. Default: The name of the active pattern, if a pattern is active.
  3. Click OK.

    A warning displays.

  4. Click OK.

    The Hole Maintenance screen displays.

  5. Select a hole by name.
  6. Select a history record by module name.

To delete a hole state history record:

  1. Display the history records for a hole that has multiple history records.

    Note: Every hole must have at least one history record.

  2. Select the record that has been identified as causing a data issue.

    Important: Contact Datamine Support for assistance with hole maintenance.

  3. Click Delete.
  4. Except for when deleting a dip record that is the last record by date, enter the PIN.

  5. Click Save Changes.
