Advanced Mine Site Settings
For context, see Configure Mine Site Settings.
Configure the following advanced mine site settings as required:
- Backfill Void
- Default Stemming Multiplier—A multiple of the hole diameter to define the default stemming length. Used in the Design Module to set the top of charge when doing a burden check.
- Minimum Design Face Burden Multiplier—A multiple of the hole diameter to define the minimum face burden distance. Used in the Drill Pattern Designer when running a burden check.
- Minimum Check Burden Multiplier—A multiple of the hole diameter to define the minimum face burden distance. Used in the Charge Module to calculate the 'pill' radius when running a burden check.
- Maximum Burden Multiplier—A multiple of the hole diameter to define the maximum face burden distance. Used in the Design module and Charge module when running a burden check.
- Charge Density Scale Factor—A multiplying factor to give a different weighting of charge density. Used in the Charge module when running a burden check. The value should be between 0.4 and 1.0.
Displayed 'pill' radius = Charge Diameter * Minimum Check Burden Multiplier * ( Charge Density ^ Charge Density Scale Factor )
- Flyrock Factor of Safety—A multiplying factor to add safety for the calculated flyrock range. Default: 2. Used in the Firing Module.
Note: Flyrock range calculations depend on accurate data being available for charge design and implementation (explosives, deck lengths, and so on). DataBlast's flyrock range calculations cannot account for wrong or poor charging instructions, geological faults or rock types that have not been mapped.
- Bootleg Radius—The length of the bootleg check’s circle radius. A fixed length plus a percentage of the charge length of the hole. Used in the Drill Pattern Designer when running a bootleg check.
- Hot Ground Temperature Threshold—If specified, holes that exceed this temperate (as recorded in the Measure Module) are flagged as being reactive. Reactive holes can only use inhibited charge standards.
- Charge Diameter Variance—Allows for variance in the hole diameter in a charge pattern. When setting charge standards on a charge pattern, the available charge standard list is filtered to relevant drill diameters available in the pattern plus or minus this charge diameter variance.
- G-Blast Strata Boundary Retrieval—A multiple of the hole diameter to determine the total area around the drill pattern to retrieve strata points for G-Blast calculations and strata display.
- Default Wet Wall Cover—The default value for the wet wall cover. Used to determine the initial wet wall cover when creating Charge Standards.
- Drill Pattern Name Maximum Length—Enter 0 to use the maximum allowable length.
- Maximum Tree Depth—The maximum levels of nodes that can be nested under a parent object in the DataBlast Items Tree.
- Block Model Generation Sizes—Enter a size for blocks along the X, Y and Z axes. Used with block models generated in DataBlast Pro from measured-while-drilling (MWD) data imported from drill navigation systems.
- Block Model IDW Influence Radius—The search radius used for the inverse distance weighting (IWD) interpolation for block models. Used with block models generated in DataBlast Pro from MWD data imported from drill navigation systems.
- Bock Model IDW Distance Power—The numeric value used for the IWD power. Used with block models generated in DataBlast Pro from MWD data imported from drill navigation systems. The larger the number, the less weighting further points have.
- Designer Default Fixed Length—The default length value used when creating a fixed length hole in Drill Pattern Designer.
- Designer Default Projection Style—Select from Collar Down and Toe Up. The default projection style for holes when not using an anchor surface in the Drill Pattern Designer. If set to Collar Down, holes are anchored to the collar point. Moving the hole or changing the hole angle pivots from the collar point. If set to Toe Up, the hole toe position is the pivot point.
