Site Maintenance
In Site Maintenance, you can configure settings that apply to your whole mine site and that affect how DataBlast Pro works.
Mine Site
Mine Site Settings
The mine site settings control default behaviour for DataBlast Pro functionality.
Colour Map
The colour map controls how colours are used throughout DataBlast Pro.
Report Templates
When you display a report for printing, you can modify the layout of the report. You can save the modified layout as a template. See Maintain Report Template Designs.
In Site Maintenance, you can also import and export templates as .mrt files (see File Formats), and you can set a template to be inactive if you no longer want it to be available for selection.
Computer Assisted Drawing (CAD) Print Borders
A CAD print border is a layer of information around any 3D objects or report that you print. See Print Viewport Objects. You can modify the basic layout, or create layouts for specific reports and orientations.
Data in the print border can come from DataBlast Pro information about the holes and patterns; for example, a calculated average hole depth. You can also include locations for text strings that can have default values or values that you specify at the time of printing.
Custom Property Definitions
You can define custom properties for your mine site, mine blocks, patterns and holes. For example, you can use custom properties to identify holes that require a particular implementation, such as pre-split or probe holes. See Custom Properties.
Charge Standards
See Charge Standards.
Resources
You can specify drill bit diameters, drill machines, mobile processing units (MPUs) and stemming trucks. These resources are used for data entry throughout DataBlast Pro.
Operators and Shifts
You can specify the operators who work at your mine site, and which competencies they have.
Shifts can be used for data entry.
Measurement Entry Templates
You can create templates for drill logs, dip entry and backfill entry.
Users and Security
DataBlast Pro has pre-defined user roles, but you can edit these roles to suit the data security requirements at your mine site.
Service Control
The Service Control settings manage how exported to and imported from interfaced systems, such as drilling machines.
BlastPad Device Registry
is a separate application installed on a Windows tablet and used for capturing field data such as dip or charge information. Use the device registry to manage to which devices data is synchronised.
