Maintain User Roles

Access user role maintenance:

  1. On the DataBlast Application Menu, select Site Maintenance.

    The Site Maintenance screen displays.

  2. Expand the Users and Security node.
  3. Select Security Roles.

    The Mine Site Roles Maintenance Ribbon Menu displays.

To modify the permissions for a user role:

  1. In the list of user role names, select the user role.
  2. Check the required permissions for users who are assigned that user role.
  3. Uncheck the permissions that should be unavailable for users who are assigned that user role.
  4. Click Save Changes.

To create a user role:

  1. Click Add Role.
  2. Enter the Role Name.
  3. Select the required permissions.
  4. Click Save Changes.

To delete a user role:

  1. In the list of user role names, select the user role.
  2. Click Delete Role.

    A confirmation message displays.

  3. Click OK.
  4. Click Save Changes.
