Generate BlastPad Configuration Files

For this activity, you need a USB drive or access to a network drive that is also accessible from the BlastPad devices.

Activity Steps

1. On the DataBlast Application Menu, in the BlastPad Data Utilities sub-menu, click Generate Base Files.

   The BlastPad Base File Initialisation screen displays.

2. Click Generate Data and Config for Initialising New BlastPads.
3. Browse for and select the USB drive.

   Note: If a USB drive is not available, you can select a different file location; however, you will need to use the alternative method to initialise the data on the BlastPad device. See Initialise BlastPad Data.

4. Click OK.

   A confirmation message displays the status of the data generation.

5. Click OK.

   The USB drive has a folder called BlastPadCommsAndData, with a subfolder of files specific to the mine site.
