Filter Dependencies

Sometimes it is useful to display only a task and its immediate predecessors / successors on the bar chart.

Activity steps:

1. Select the task you want to display along with its predecessors / successors.
2. On the Data tab of the ribbon in the Dependency Filter group do the following:
   1. Set the number of Predecessor and Successor levels to filter on.
   2. Click Apply.
3. The bar chart will display the selected tasks with the predecessors / successors as specified by the number of levels.
4. Click Apply again to remove the dependency filter.
