Clear Cell Contents

Delete the contents of the selected cell(s) without deleting the item (e.g. task or resource) itself.

To do this:

  1. Select the cell(s) whose contents you wish to delete (or reset to the default value if one exists or is required), and do one of the following:
  1. Select the  button in the Editing group on the Editing ribbon tab.
  2. Press the <Ctrl+Delete> key combination.
  3. Right-click on the cell(s) and select Clear Contents from the pop-up menu.

Note: Some cells must have a value (e.g. duration, constraint, calendar etc.). In this case a default is set. If the cell contains text, this will generally be set to an empty string.
