General Settings: Project Notes
To access this screen:

Project Settings >> Project >> Notes.
Use Project Notes to store free-text notes for a Project, Task, or Resource. The content you enter is saved with the item you opened Notes from.
Activity steps:

Open Project Notes from the relevant screen (Project, Task, or Resource).

In the Text panel, enter the notes you need.

To format text, use the toolbar options as required (Bold, Italics, Underline). See "Toolbar Options", above.

To change the font, use the toolbar to select Font and set Font, Font style, Size, Effects, Colour, and other options as required.

Use the Advanced tab to set character spacing and kerning settings.

To insert a hyperlink:

Enter the text to turn into a hyperlink and select it so that it is highlighted.

Right-click the selected text and select Hyperlink.
- Edit the Text to display if required.
- Enter a ScreenTip if required. This displays when you hover over the link.
- Select the Target frame, which can be New Window, Parent Frame, Same Frame or Whole Page.
- You can either link to:
- Existing file or web page, or;
- Place in this document (a bookmark).
- Enter the bookmark name or web URL in the Address field. You can also browse to display a file explorer and target a local or remote resource.
- Click OK to update your selected text as a hyperlink.
Tip: Right click text on the Notes screen to see more useful formatting commands for indenting, creating a bookmark, accessing the clipboard and so on.

To insert an image:

Click the note at the position you want an image to appear.

Use the toolbar to select Image.

Browse to a supported image file.

Click Open to insert the image.

Click OK to update your project, task or resource.

Save your project.
