Production Rate Tables
To access this screen:
-
Project Settings >> Production Rate Tables.
Production Rate Tables are used to allocate rates to tasks that are driven by a Resource. You can allocate these rates to All Tasks or to tasks that pass a specified filter.
About production rate tables:
-
Production Rate Tables set the default production rate for driving resources when those resources are assigned to tasks.
-
Your application defines the effective rate according to the task calendar (and potentially the resource calendar, depending on options).
-
A Production Rate Table only applies during resource assignment after you assign it to individual resources (it is not applied just by defining the table).
Activity steps:
- Display the Production Rate Tables screen.
- In the Production Rate Tables list, do one of the following:
- To edit an existing table, select it.
- To create a new table, click New, then enter a name for the table.
- To rename a table, select it, click Rename, then enter a new name.
- To delete a table, select it, then click Delete.
Note: Your application lists table names in alphabetical order.
- In the grid, set where the rate applies:
- In Apply to Tasks, select All Tasks to apply the rate to all tasks in the project.
- In Apply to Tasks, select a Filter to apply the rate only to tasks that pass the filter conditions.
- In Rate [per hour], enter the required production rate for the tasks.
- Click OK to update your project.
- Save your project.
