Haulage Destinations
The haulage analysis requires haulage destinations to be defined and assigned to tasks requiring haulage:
Destinations can be created and modified in the Destinations page of the Project Settings screen box.
The destinations can be configured in a hierarchy (e.g. C01 and C02 below Crusher). This allows the user to assign the generic destination (Crusher) to a task and allow the system to use the most appropriate child destination (s) depending on the travel distance and calendars.
Each destination is linked to a road network node so that the haulage analysis can determine the total distance and travel time between tasks and the destination.
Each crusher can be assigned a calendar to specify operating hours, e.g. if the main crusher is closed on Saturdays between 02:00 and 12:00 for routine maintenance, the analysis will use alternatives during this period.
Additionally the estimated queuing and spotting times can be specified per destination. This is included in the total cycle time between a source (task) and a destination.
Destinations can be assigned to tasks using the Haulage Destination field. A generic (in which case the analysis will determine the appropriate specific destination) or a specific destination can be specified, for example:
