Generic (replaceable) resources can be defined in two ways:

• summary resources (created via indent / out-dent) are automatically replaceable
• additionally special replaceable resources can be defined and assigned as skills to other resources

Currently one of the algorithms of DTS Blend can replace the replaceable resource with one of its specific resources as shown in the following example:

The resource can be assigned as a skill to other resources:

The generic resource (e.g. Shovel) can be assigned to some tasks:

After running the DTS Blend algorithm it will replace Shovel with a suitable specific resource:
