Create Downhole Structures

1. In the Downhole Data window, click the Add Downhole Structure layer button.

   The Structure Display Settings window displays.

2. For the Source Data, select the Table and Dip Field that contains the text data.
3. Configure the Type if required.
   1. Select the Type of structures from:
      • True Dip & Direction—Default
      • Apparent Dip

        If Apparent Dip is selected, select whether the Zero dip is parallel to core axis or Zero dip is perpendicular to core axis.

   2. Select the column with the Dip Direction.
4. Configure the Display of the structures if required.
   1. Enter the Tick Length (mm).
   2. Select the Tick Vertical Position.
   3. To edit the Tick Style, see Edit the Line Style.
   4. Select which structure column to Colour by Column.
   5. Select a legend from the list to Colour by Legend.

      If no legend for the data exists, click the Legend Editor icon . See Create a Legend from Drillhole Data.

5. Click OK.
