Create Downhole Text

Activity Steps

1. In the Downhole Data window, click the Text button.

   The Text Label Settings window displays.

2. For the Source Data, select the Table and Field that contains the text data.
3. Configure the Data Handling Options if required.
   1. Click the filter icon.

      The Data Handling Options window displays.

   2. Enter the Cap to minimum value.
   3. Enter the Cap to maximum value.
   4. Select whether to Use every nth sample.

      If selected, enter the required number.

   5. Click OK.
4. To edit the Style, see Edit the Font Style.
5. To edit the style using a legend see, Edit the Style using a Legend.
6. Configure the Position of the text if required.
   1. Enter the Offset(mm).
   2. Select the Vertical Position.
7. Select the Orientation of the text from:
   1. Horizontal
   2. Perpendicular
   3. Parallel
   4. Custom

      If custom is selected specify the orientation in mm.

8. Configure the Format if required.
   1. Select whether to Replace numbers with alias.
   2. Select whether to constrain the Decimal Places.

      If checked, enter the number of decimal places.

9. Click OK.
