Import Data from Scaniverse OBJ

1. On the Discover ribbon tab, in the External Data group, expand Import and click Scaniverse OBJ.

   The Geoprocessing panel displays the Scaniverse Import Tool parameters.

2. Click the folder icon next to Input File.
3. Browse for and select the required file with the .obj file extension.
4. Set the Output Feature Class:
   1. Click the folder icon next to Output Feature Class.
   2. Browse for the location to save the feature class.
   3. Enter the Name.
   4. Click Save.

      Note: A feature class is a file containing any vector data.

5. Check the box to select whether Y is up.
6. To display the data in an existing scene, select a scene from the Local Scene dropdown list.
7. To display the data in a new scene:
   1. Select <Create New Scene> in the Local Scene dropdown list.
   2. Enter a name for the New Local Scene.
8. Click Run.

   The imported map data displays in the Map Window.
