Create an Outcrop Mapper Project
Activity Steps
- Create a new project.
- On the Discover ribbon tab, in the Tools group, click Outcrop Mapper Tool.
The Outcrop Mapper Tool panel displays.
- Click the Manage tab.
- Set the Coordinate Reference system.
- Click Create outcrop project.
A 2D map displays all the capture points and image rays of the outcrop. Discover for ArcGIS Pro also creates a OutcropMapper.gdb and Section_Template.gdb if you do not already have a drillhole project.
- To add a Z surface:
- Click the folder icon.
- Set the File Type to Rasters (All Local types).
- Browse for and select the topography (elevation) file.
- Click OK.
- Click Apply.
