User Management and Permissions

The first time you open LandTracker, or access it from a new PC, you will have no access. A LandTracker administrator in your company needs to assign you the appropriate permissions.

LandTracker Licensing

Your company's LandTracker licence may limit which modules you can access:

  • Tenements—Manage, report on and receive alerts for your tenements and their actions. Report and audit tenements using the Due Diligence tool, including access to all Pro functions, such as automated quick appraisals.
  • Agreements—Manage, report on and receive alerts for your agreements and their actions.
  • Environmental—Manage, report on and receive alerts for your environmental data and their actions
  • Due Diligence—Access the standard (non-Pro) functions of the Due Diligence tool.
  • Due Diligence Pro—Access all functions of the Due Diligence tool including access to all Pro functions, such as automated quick appraisals.

Licence Types

Administrators and editors each require an Editor LandTracker licence. Each Site licence includes unlimited Viewer licences.

Permission Levels

For each licensed module, users of LandTracker can be granted different permissions.

On the Dashboard:

  • If a link is black, you can access that functionality.
  • If a link is black with an eye icon beside it, you can view the data but cannot make any changes.
  • If a link is grey, you cannot access that functionality.

LandTracker has the following permission levels:

  • Administrator—Has Editor-level access to all modules for which the company has purchased licences; and can access administration functions, such as managing users and their permissions.
  • Editor—Has access to make changes within the module.
  • Viewer—Can view records in the module but cannot make changes to them or perform any administrator functions in the module. Cannot add actions from within the module.
  • None—All menu options for the module are disabled.

Important: A user who has access to an asset also has access at the same permission level to the actions and contacts of that asset.
