Set up a Specification Definition Category

Specification definition templates must belong to a specification definition category or sub-category.

Security Note: You need the Allow specification template maintenance security right in the Specification Templates domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Quality panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level specification definition category, right-click the Specification Templates node and select New » Specification Definition Category from the menu.
   2. To set up a specification definition sub-category, right-click a specification definition category and select New » Specification Definition Category from the menu.
3. Update the name of the specification template category node if required.
4. Click Save.
