Create a Discrete Unit Division
Discrete unit divisions are an optional way to divide up a discrete unit location without needing to create other discrete unit locations as sub-locations.
Discrete unit divisions can also be set up within discrete unit divisions.
A discrete unit division can only be moved to another discrete unit division within the same discrete unit location, or to the parent discrete unit location. A discrete unit division cannot be moved to a different discrete unit location. For example, in the following structure in the Solution Explorer, DU Division 1A could be moved up to DU Location 1, but not to DU Location 2 or DU Division 2:
- Business Area 1 > DU Location 1 > DU Division 1 > DU Division 1A
- Business Area 1 > DU Location 2 > DU Division 2
Security Note: You need the Allow location maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.
