Create a Stockyard

Ideally, a stockyard should only exist as a property of a business area, mine location, stock location, or any despatch location (rail siding, truck location, barge terminal or port location).

Stockpile categories can be used to build up the hierarchy of the structure of the stockyard (for example, the lower-level structure of pads and stockpiles).

The following objects should exist within a stockyard: stockpile categories, FIFO stockpiles, LIFO stockpiles and WAG stockpiles.

Security Note: You need the Allow stockyard maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
  2. Expand the Supply Chain » Business Areas node.
  3. Right-click the node for the business area and select New » Stockyard from the menu.
