Set up a 3D Age Colour Range

One of the display options on the 3D Transaction Viewer is by material age.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to view/edit colours security right in the 3D user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Age Colour Editor.
  2. Right-click and select New from the menu.
  3. Complete the following fields.
    • Name
    • Colour 1—Select from a palette of basic colours, preconfigured web colours and system (Windows) colours. In the palette of basic colours, right-click a colour in the bottom two rows to customise a colour with hue/saturation/luminosity or red/green/blue values.
    • Colour 2
    • Gradient—Whether the colour used to show the age of a section in a 3D stockpile is a gradient from one colour to another, or just a flat colour using Colour 1.
    • Min Value (Days)—Minimum age, in days, of the section in the 3D stockpile after which the colour range is used to depict the age.
    • Include Minimum—Whether to include the minimum number of days in the cut off to determine the colour profile of the section in the 3D stockpile.
    • Max Value (Days)—Maximum age, in days, of the section in the 3D stockpile before which the colour range is used to depict the age. Using a very large number (for example, 999,999.00) for the oldest range is recommended, to ensure that no material will be older than the oldest range.
    • Include Maximum—Whether to include the maximum number of days in the cut off to determine the colour profile of the section in the 3D stockpile.
  4. Click Save.
